1. International Chapters Launched
The Association has members in 88 countries around the world.
In order to harness the power of this global network and strengthen our international connections we are launching a new initiative that will link influential business leaders worldwide.
The International Chapters of the Association of MBAs will allow our members based outside of the UK to network more effectively in their own countries, inform members about local events, and post relevant news and information to a dedicated area of our website.
We are now encouraging active members of the Association of MBAs to become Chapter Chairs in their respective countries. Being appointed as a Chapter Chair offers you exceptional profile raising opportunities, both regionally and internationally, and ensures you are a key part of the Association’s ongoing international membership operations.
A pilot Chapter, the UAE Chapter of the Association of MBAs, has already been launched. You can view it by clicking the link below.

6. Oxford Business Debate 2009
We are delighted to announce that two new high-profile speakers have been signed up for the Oxford Business Debate taking place on Thursday, 15 October 2009 at Saïd Business School.
Philip Delves Broughton Journalist and Author
Philip Delves Broughton made a well known switch in his career – from Daily Telegraph journalist covering the 9/11 attacks in New York, then Paris correspondent, to Harvard MBA student. But his bold move didn’t quite turn out as he expected. He wrote about his experiences in a book bye-lined ‘My two years inside the cauldron of capitalism’.
Philip has returned to writing – but with new and challenging insights into the business world.
Victoria Lennox Founder of NACUE
A Canadian-born graduate from Oxford University, Victoria Lennox leads the UK movement for young entrepreneurs, having founded the National Consortium of University Entrepreneurs (NACUE). NACUE supports over 80 universities, 55 enterprise societies and 30,000 enterprising graduates.
Victoria is the former President of Oxford Entrepreneurs (2008–09), has a multi-sectoral background in entrepreneurship, governance and policy in the UK, Canada, China and Ghana, and has been profiled in The Spectator as a rising star and one of their recognized top 25 under 25.
